What does rest and recovery look like? A balance. A balance between modifying and resting. A full day of rest will not kill you. Just don’t let it turn into a week or a month or a year. Stay mentally tough and focused on your goals. (Which is unique to you, don't get frustrated by looking around the gym at what everyone else is up to.) Rest can look like active recovery meaning you go for a hike, do some stretching or yoga, ride a bike, go swimming or take a walk.
